Gas Line Installation, Repair & Safety
It’s not uncommon to have gas appliances or heating and cooling systems in the Metro-East areas. However, it must be noted that homes that run on gas do have some added risks. Gas is an efficient, low-cost energy source. However, it’s highly flammable, which means a leak puts you and your home in serious danger.

How to Handle a Gas Leak
If you notice the scent of gas present throughout your home, you may have a leak. If you suspect a gas leak, the first thing you should do is get out of the home and call the utility company to have them inspect things. Don’t hang around inside or do anything that could cause a spark to ignite the gas (such as flipping an electrical switch or using a lighter).
